Gathered from the wetlands of Tumbledown Hollow. Moss-covered stone, damp forest air, the quiet calm of Toad's den. Deep verier and patchouli, cedarwood and black spruce, with a whisper of warm benzoin resin underneath.
Rich. Grounded. Still.
Each bar is naturally colored with French green clay, nettle leaf, and a whisper of charcoal — a layered sediment swirl that mirrors the stone and soil of the Hollow floor. No two exactly alike. Approximately 4.5-5 ounces per bar.
Natural cold process soap. Vegan & palm-free. No synthetic fragrance or artificial colorants.
Handmade in small batches.
Every order includes a printed Tumbledown Hollow story chapter, a numbered Field Note, and a collectible Hollowcard.
I ordered a few bars of soap, hoping for some lovely handmade scents. I got so much more! A package from Twig and Toad is a revelation of wholesomeness that is sweet like honey, of goodness that makes not demands on you, just the chance to bask in its dappled light.
The smell is wonderful! Vertiver has always been a favorite scent and this bar is a delight to use and have in the bath. Silky texture and gentle suds. Intriguing messages included with purchase make for good reading. Many thanks!
This soap is such a delight. I have fairly sensitive skin and am always a bit reluctant to try new products. But I’ve had no issues at all with this soap and have thoroughly enjoyed its scent. It’s a new favorite, and I will definitely be repurchasing.
