Root Cellar isn't our friendliest soap. It's one of our most interesting.

If you're looking for bright citrus or sweet florals, this isn't it. Root Cellar is cool cedar shelves, dried herbs, old wood, and the quiet satisfaction of a pantry prepared for winter. It opens with an earthy, herbal character that softens as you use it, settling into warm cedar and resinous woods.

Some people will wrinkle their nose.

Other people will pick it up, smell it again, and quietly carry it to the checkout.

The Keeper's Reserve 
Every so often the Keeper wanders away from the usual workbench to follow an interesting thought. Whatever comes of it is tucked quietly into the Keeper's Reserve. If it finds a home, wonderful. If not, the Keeper rather enjoys the company.

This release consists of just eight bars. Once they're gone, the story is finished.

Handcrafted in small batches using natural ingredients. Each bar weighs approximately 4.5 ounces and may vary slightly in appearance, just as handmade things should.
